THE “LOVE” MURAL

I came across this super fun mural in St Paul when scouting new locations a couple of years ago. Since I naturally gravitate towards neutral colors and absolutely LOVE the color orange, I couldn’t wait to use the location as a backdrop for a unique photo session, Having fun with the mural concept, I created a magazine cover (see one of the last photos for example)

These two Bobeedy Ambassadors were a perfect duo to experiment the location with as they both have a great sense of style and have worked on numerous Bobeedy creative projects-they know what to expect.

Though this session was scheduled mid-day, we had amazing shade, lighting AND found a way to let the 35-40 mile gusts of wind work to our advantage.

As a photographer, the posing thought process with murals goes something like this:

  • Photograph the entire mural-subject near and subject far

  • Photograph the subject standing

  • Photograph the subject sitting

  • Photograph the subject-full body

  • Photograph the subject-half body

  • Photograph the subject-headshot
