Arcade Photo Shoot

Just when I think I can’t have any more fun with themed photo sessions (Valentine’s was AWESOME), we do an arcade photo shoot. The game room at Dave and Busters did not disappoint as the neon lights and games photographed perfectly.
When consulting with the girls on what to wear, all I asked was they did their hair and makeup and chose an outfit that was “edgy”-whatever that meant to them. Each girl showed up looking great and sported a look of her own (which I loved).
A couple of tricks incase you want to try this on your own…
1) Bring a friend to hold a battery operated light. I used the Savage RGB Light Painter Pro LED Wand-using a variety of hues including white, green, red, and blue.
2) Hold a six inch prism crystal on the side of the lens to reflect lights
3) Use a prime 50 or 35mm wide-angle lens (setting at the lowest aperture possible)
4) Have lots of fun!
